Bethpage Topples Southside with Dominating Performance

The Bethpage Eagles soundly swatted a strong Southside baseball team yesterday, walking away with a 5-2 victory.  Senior Kyle Tracy started off the game with five strikeouts out of six batters. He went six strong innings and finished with an astounding 12 strikeouts. In the seventh inning, senior Robert Cafiero left his post behind the plate to close out the game and secure the victory for Bethpage. Tracy also crushed a double, going two for three with an RBI. Sophomore Joey Schulteis added to the onslaught, pounding out two singles in three at-bats and two RBIs.
